Registration in Pittsfield Public Schools is now an online process. To register your student please follow the directions below.
NOTE: Please be sure to read all steps and directions below. All steps must be completed to make sure your child is properly registered.
Once you have completed the forms, please watch your email for instructions on how to complete the registration process.
All communication will take place via email.
Until you receive a confirmation email from [email protected], your child is not actively registered. Registration is not complete until ALL forms and requested documents have been received by the registrar and you have been sent a confirmation email.
STEP 1 - Fill out the required forms below:
All incoming students in Grades 1-12 must complete the following forms:
• PPS Registration Form/Formulario de Registro de Estudiantes
• Home Language Survey
• Records Release Form
• No need for these students to complete the Kindergarten Survey
All incoming Pre-K and Kindergarten students must complete the following forms:
• PPS Registration Form/Formulario de Registro de Estudiantes
• Home Language Survey
• Kindergarten only: Kindergarten Survey/Encuesta sobre la experiencia de educación de la primera infancia
• IF your incoming kindergarten student has attended school elsewhere, you will also need to complete the Records Release Form below.
STEP 2 - Send a scan or photo of EACH of the required documents listed below

All submissions are to be sent electronically (email or fax) by scanning or attaching documents to an email. As an additional option, hard copies may be delivered by hand to the drop box at the back of the administration building, 269 1st Street, Pittsfield, MA.
Gather the following REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:

Valid PARENT or LEGAL GUARDIAN Photo ID: State-issued ID, Driver's license or Passport
•
Birth Certificate
•
Immunizations
•
Last physical exam record
•
Proof of Residence—such as a current utility bill or rental agreement
• Middle and high school students—the student’s
transcript and
most recent grades
• Students with an IEP—a copy of the student’s
Individual Education Plan
