If you are new to Pittsfield, please see the "Online Registration" link on the left to begin the process using the digital registration form. You will then need to complete the process by submitting the required paperwork via email, fax or delivery to our drop box.
What do I need to enroll?
- photo ID
- child’s birth certificate
- proof of address (utility bill with service address or rental agreement)
- child’s immunization records and most recent doctor’s physical exam records
- any school records
Is there any orientation for students moving from grade 5 to grade 6?
Yes. A step-up day is provided for all students currently enrolled in the Pittsfield Public Schools. This short orientation program is coordinated through the elementary schools with support of the receiving middle school. In addition, a district “First Day” is provided for all grade 6 students at the start of the school year. A letter mailed to homes during the summer, or available through the school’s office, provides details regarding this orientation program.
