Head Coach-Varsity Boys Soccer, Fall 2009
- Location: Taconic High School

- Duties: Candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and instruction in the personal and athletic development of student-athletes. Ability to teach fundamental soccer techniques playing rules, and game strategies is required.
Excellent communications skills and a philosophy consistent with the mission and goals of the school are expected. Candidate should have the ability to convey messages of sportsmanship, work ethic, and responsibility to one’s team.
Additional responsibilities of the position include conducting well-organized practices, complying with MIAA rules, and completing MIAA-required coaching workshops. - Experience: Experience as coach at the high school level is preferred, but not required. Season runs from late August through early November.

Strong emphasis put on conditioning, strength training, meet management, fund raising, and organization of team workouts. Coordinate and facilitate a bullying prevention committee within the school to plan implementation of a Bullying Prevention Program. (Approximately 1 hour monthly) Meet 1 hour monthly with the Violence Prevention School Adjustment Counselor. Meet 1 hour quarterly with the District-wide Team. |
