Curriculum Department Mission Statement
The mission of the Curriculum Department is to develop, implement, and supervise educational programs by adhering to the Massachusetts Frameworks and district policy and by monitoring delivery of instruction and student performance.
Guiding Principles
The Curriculum Department develops educational programs by:

- collaborating with teachers, administrators, and other curriculum specialists

- piloting prospective programs
- procuring program materials
- assessing student performance
The Curriculum Department supervises educational programs by:
- communicating with the School Committee, central administrators, principals, curriculum advisory councils, teachers, students, and parents
- monitoring the delivery of curriculum and instruction
